NewsFlash! Government Shutdown Temporarily Averted, EB5 Extended

Last night, the U.S. Senate passed a stopgap bill to fund the federal government through Friday, December 22, 2017. This bill also serves to extend the employment-based, fifth preference (EB5) regional center program for the same time period. This stopgap bill was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives earlier in the day.

Prior to the new December 22, 2017 deadline, Congress hopes to pass a more long-term spending bill and is expected to work on reauthorizing the regional center program, as well. Subscribe to the free MurthyBulletin to receive future updates.
